Gabrielle Logan, MSc

Gabrielle recently started her PhD in the College of Community and Global Health at the University of Manitoba in 2025. She has over a decade of research experience primarily in clinical epidemiology, focusing on chronic pain research, health care utilisation, systematic review and meta-analysis, mental health, and perioperative research. Her training is in both quantitative and qualitative methods, from RCTs to reflexive thematic analysis. Gabrielle has worked as the Research Coordinator in the Department of Anesthesiology, Pain, and Perioperative Medicine at the University of Manitoba since 2019 and joined the CARe RTP team as a research assistant in 2026.

Research
Current research interests are anchored in how mental health, physical health (e.g., chronic pain conditions), and adverse childhood experiences such as parental criminal justice system involvement interact, and their potential influence on healthcare use.
