Isabel Garces Davila, MA

Isabel is a graduate student in the Department of Community Health Sciences doctoral program at the University of Manitoba. Isabel joined the CARe Research Team in 2018 and has been helping with projects in various capacities, including literature searches and data analysis.

Research

Isabel’s primary research interests are to identify effective evidence-based interventions to prevent and reduce physical abuse in children. Isabel is also interested in looking at prenatal maternal exposures associated with mental disorders and educational challenges in children and adolescents. She is also enthusiastic about how using Real-World Data (RWD) can contribute to creating evidence that could further policies and programs for those in need.
